Bio After taking a degree in Arabic and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies at Durham University, Angus McDowall lived in Tehran from 2003 to 2007 as correspondent for Middle East Economic Digest, Middle East International, The Independent and later The Economist. He now works at the foreign desk of The Sunday Telegraph.
