| Bio | Col. Lees spent much of his 34 year army career with his regiment, the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. From 1975 to 1979, he served as Defence Attaché in Saudi Arabia and Yemen. He was then Head of Army Technical Intelligence, 1979-82 and Head of Defence Intelligence staff, Washington, 1982-84 before being appointed Defence Attaché, Oman, 1984-87. Since leaving the Army he has worked with the Saudi Economic Offset Programme. He is a member of the Council of the Society. |
