| Bio | Desmond Kelly - Desmond Kelly was born in Loilem, in the Shan States, Burma, where he spent the first seven years of his life. In 1958 he qualified as a doctor at St Thomas's Hospital and has recently retired after 18 years as Medical Director of the Priory Hospital, Roehampton. He is the author of Kelly's Burma Campaign: Letters from the Chin Hills, published by Tiddim Press in 2003. |
