Professor John Carswell

Bio Professor John Carswell is a long-time member of the Society, having served twice on the Council and as a Vice-President. He has lectured frequently to the Society on a range of different topics, and particularly on his researches into trade between China, Central Asia and the West. He now lives in Andalusia, and his most recent activity has been cataloguing the Iznik collection in the Benaki Museum in Athens.
