In the heart of Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan has been at the heart of the RSAA’s interest since the society was founded in 1901. In the past century, the city of Bishkek has grown from a tiny Russian garrison town in the Tien Shan mountains to a sprawling metropolis and capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.
