GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Society's Journal Asian Affairs now appears three times a year, in March, July and November.

Editorial control is exercised through an Editorial Board working in close cooperation with the Editor

The Journal is in the process of becoming a refereed publication. It is also the "house magazine" of members of the Society, and the subscription is included within their membership, although non-members may subscribe separately (see below)

Asian Affairs contains reprints of lectures given to the Society, articles either commissioned by the Editor or submitted for publication, and records of Society activities. A large section of each issue is devoted to book reviews, mostly commissioned, and this section attracts a particularly wide readership.
